Storyknife will host six women writers each month for seven months each year. Writers will submit applications to an admissions committee. Residents who are selected will be responsible for their travel to and from the residency, but meals throughout their stay will be included.

Led by writer and personal growth pioneer Jennifer Louden, these retreats for women writers of all levels working in various genres are mainly held in Taos, New Mexico, but also sometimes travel to Mexico, California and other parts of the United States. The Taos Writer’s Retreat is designed specifically to help women writers hone their craft and work on a project.
